Overview
Döşemealtı is Antalya’s northern suburb at the Taurus foothills: drier microclimate, villas, townhouses, and plots. Ancient Termessos in the national park is nearby, with D400 access toward Burdur.
Kaleiçi is 25–35 minutes away; Konyaaltı 30–40 minutes by car. A car is practically required — public transport is thinner than in Muratpaşa. In return: fewer tourists, more garden and terrace space, less humidity than the front line.
Built for families and primary homes: people buy a house to live in, not a flat for nightly rentals. Short-term yield is weaker than the coast; living quality and capital preservation are stronger.

Property prices
$320,000 – $750,000

Investment perspective
Döşemealtı is about capital preservation and living quality, not maximum rental yield. Resale depends on build quality, plot, utilities, and clean title. Rentals are possible (families, long-stay residents), but liquidity is lower than seaside stock. Compare price per m² of home + land and running costs, not sticker price alone. Residence via property can work here if budget and asset type meet current thresholds.
Lifestyle
Mornings in the garden, fewer neighbours through the wall, evenings quieter than a resort promenade. Children get space; adults get privacy. Sea and nightlife mean a drive into the city. In winter the district suits people tired of front-line humidity. This is “live in a house,” not “live in a beach complex.”
Transport
A car is the main transport. Antalya center is usually 25–35 minutes; the sea 30–40 minutes depending on the exact spot. Public transport is thinner than in Muratpaşa or Konyaaltı. Airport — about 25–35 minutes.
